This Coaching Disclaimer applies to the 3 Red Birds Coaching website, individual coaching, consultations, workshops, group programs, private communities, recorded courses, digital products, free resources, and educational materials.3 Red Birds Coaching is operated by Looking Glass Counseling LLC.By using this website, purchasing an offering, or participating in a service provided by 3 Red Birds Coaching, you acknowledge and agree to the following.
1. Coaching and Educational Purposes
3 Red Birds Coaching provides coaching, personal-development, reflective, and educational services intended to support self-awareness, learning, decision-making, and personal growth.Services and materials may include:Individual coachingGroup coaching programsWorkshopsReflective exercisesJournaling and doodling activitiesEducational presentationsPrivate community discussionsRecorded courses and replaysDownloadable guides, worksheets, and other digital resourcesThe information provided is general in nature and is not intended to address every person’s individual circumstances.
2. Coaching Is Not Counseling or Psychotherapy
Services offered through 3 Red Birds Coaching are coaching and educational services. They are not counseling, psychotherapy, mental-health diagnosis or treatment, medical care, or crisis intervention.Participation in 3 Red Birds Coaching does not create a therapist-client relationship with JoAnn Ristau or Looking Glass Counseling LLC.Although JoAnn Ristau is a licensed professional counselor, her professional counseling credentials do not change the nature of services purchased or received through 3 Red Birds Coaching.Counseling services provided through Looking Glass Counseling are separate from coaching services provided through 3 Red Birds Coaching.
3. Not a Substitute for Professional Care
Coaching and educational information should not be used as a substitute for advice, diagnosis, treatment, or services provided by a qualified:Physician or healthcare professionalLicensed mental-health professionalAttorneyAccountantFinancial adviserOther appropriately qualified professionalYou are responsible for consulting an appropriate professional when your needs fall outside the scope of coaching.Do not delay, disregard, or discontinue professional care because of information obtained through this website, a coaching session, workshop, program, course, recording, or private community.
4. Not for Emergencies
3 Red Birds Coaching does not provide emergency, crisis, or urgent mental-health services.The website, email, contact forms, scheduling system, coaching sessions, workshops, group programs, and private communities should not be used to request emergency assistance.Anyone experiencing an immediate safety concern, mental-health emergency, or risk of harm should contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource in their location.Messages are not monitored continuously, and immediate responses are not guaranteed.
5. Personal Responsibility

6. No Guaranteed Results
3 Red Birds Coaching does not guarantee any particular personal, emotional, professional, financial, relational, health, or other result.Each person’s experience is different. Outcomes depend on many factors, including participation, effort, readiness, follow-through, personal choices, and individual circumstances.Testimonials, participant stories, examples, and feedback describe individual experiences. They are not promises or guarantees that another participant will receive the same or similar results.
7. Sensitive Information
The 3 Red Birds Coaching website, contact forms, scheduling forms, registration forms, email communications, and private communities are not intended to collect confidential medical records, mental-health diagnoses, medication information, detailed trauma histories, crisis information, or other highly sensitive personal information.Please do not submit highly sensitive medical, mental-health, financial, legal, crisis, or identifying information through these systems.Submitting information through the website or contacting 3 Red Birds Coaching does not create a therapist-client relationship.
8. Workshops, Groups, and Private Communities
Participants in workshops, group programs, and private communities are expected to respect the privacy of others.However, because these offerings involve multiple participants, 3 Red Birds Coaching cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality or refrain from copying, taking screenshots, or sharing information.Participants should share only information they are comfortable disclosing in a group setting.Information posted in a private community may be visible to 3 Red Birds Coaching and other registered group members.
9. Recordings
Individual one-on-one coaching sessions are not recorded.Selected workshops and group programs may be recorded for registered participants to access as replays. Participants will be informed when recording is taking place.Reasonable efforts will be made to record only JoAnn Ristau and shared presentation materials. Participant names, images, voices, chat messages, or other identifying information are not intentionally included, although complete exclusion cannot always be guaranteed during a live interactive session.Participants may choose to keep their camera off, adjust their displayed name, refrain from using the chat, or avoid speaking while a session is being recorded.
10. Technology and Third-Party Platforms
Services may be provided through third-party platforms such as Squarespace, Google, Canva, Calendly, Stripe, Zoom, and a private community or messaging platform.Use of those services may also be governed by the provider’s own terms, privacy policy, security practices, and technical limitations.3 Red Birds Coaching cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to websites, online sessions, recordings, digital materials, payment systems, scheduling services, or private communities.Internet outages, equipment problems, platform failures, maintenance, security issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect access.
11. External Links and Resources
The website, programs, emails, courses, and materials may contain links to third-party websites, books, videos, articles, applications, or other resources.A link or reference does not necessarily constitute an endorsement or guarantee of the information, service, security, or availability provided by that third party.3 Red Birds Coaching is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, accuracy, availability, or actions of external websites or service providers.

13. International Participation
3 Red Birds Coaching offerings may be available to adults located inside and outside the United States.Participants are responsible for determining whether a coaching service, program, course, or resource is appropriate and permitted in their location.Coaching services do not establish a professional counseling or healthcare relationship in the participant’s state, province, country, or other jurisdiction.
14. Limitation of Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 3 Red Birds Coaching and Looking Glass Counseling LLC are not responsible for decisions, actions, losses, injuries, or outcomes arising from a participant’s interpretation or application of coaching or educational information.Nothing in this Disclaimer is intended to exclude responsibility that cannot legally be limited or excluded.Additional limitations and conditions are provided in the 3 Red Birds Coaching Terms and Conditions.
